These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Riina app and riina.io (together, the “Service”), operated by Riina Labs, Inc. Riina is a fantasy health league that lets you sync workouts, compete in leagues, and share activity with other members. Please read these Terms carefully — by creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Riina Labs, Inc., 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
You must be at least 16 years old — or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher — to use Riina. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.
The Service is not intended for children. We do not knowingly allow ineligible users, and we may suspend or remove any account that does not meet these requirements.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Riina is a community built around health and fair competition, and we expect every member to treat others with respect.
You agree not to post, upload, share, or transmit any content, or engage in any behavior, that:
Users who engage in abusive behavior or post objectionable content will be removed from the Service. This list is not exhaustive; Riina may act on any content or conduct it reasonably considers harmful to the community.
You can report any content or user directly in the app whenever you encounter something that may violate these Terms. Reports are sent to our moderation team for review.
You can also block any abusive user directly in the app. When you block a user, their content is removed from your experience immediately — you will no longer see their posts, comments, reactions, or messages, and they can no longer interact with you.
Riina reviews reports of objectionable content and abusive behavior. We will act on objectionable content and eject violators within 24 hours of a report being confirmed.
Enforcement actions may include removing content and suspending or terminating accounts, with or without prior notice, depending on the severity of the violation. We reserve the right to take whatever action we consider appropriate to protect the community and comply with the law.
You retain ownership of the content you create and share on Riina — including workout posts, photos, videos, comments, and messages (“Your Content”). You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the rights to share it.
By submitting Your Content, you grant Riina a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display it as needed to operate and provide the Service — for example, showing your posts to other members according to the visibility settings you choose. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for content already shared with other users or retained as part of league and game history.
You represent that Your Content does not infringe the rights of others and does not violate these Terms or any applicable law.
Riina is a fitness and entertainment service, not a medical service. Scores, heart-rate zones, activity metrics, and any other information in the app are for informational and competitive purposes only and are not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing any exercise program.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time via the account deletion page or in-app controls.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, post objectionable content, or where we are required to do so by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Riina Labs, Inc. and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time — for example as the Service evolves or to reflect legal or regulatory changes. When we do, we will revise the effective date and version above. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Riina is a team sport for people who work out solo. Connect any wearable and our AI turns your heart rate into effort points — so running, lifting, swimming, and CrossFit all compete on the same scoreboard. Join a squad, play a new 7-day match every Monday, and battle through a 5-week season against rival teams. Every workout you crush — or skip — your team feels it.
Apple Watch, Garmin, Whoop, Oura, Polar, Google Pixel, Fitbit, and any other wearable that syncs to Apple HealthKit or Android's Health Connect. If it tracks heart rate and syncs to your phone's health app, Riina reads it.
Leagues run from 2 up to 12 teams. Each team has 1–5 active members, plus an unlimited practice squad.
Your base score comes from the time you spend in different heart-rate zones during a workout — higher-intensity zones earn more points than lower ones. Our AI then validates and adjusts scoring based on overall intensity to keep competition fair. Your personal zones are calculated from your health profile (resting and max heart rate, ventilatory thresholds), so keeping it up to date keeps your scoring accurate.
Yes. Your raw health data — heart rate, GPS, weight and the rest — stays on Riina's own servers (hosted in the EU) and is never sold or shared for advertising. We use a small number of vetted providers (e.g. hosting and push notifications) strictly to run the app, under data-processing agreements. See our Privacy Policy for the full list.
Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete account. Deletion is irreversible and removes all your data within 30 days.
